The Family Child Care Association of Maine (FCCAM), Professional Learning Committee (PLC) is charged with offering training on developmentally appropriate practices and current topics in early childhood education that supports the important work of the family child care professional.
The trainings developed by the PLC being accessed through this site are provided in an archived format so child care professionals can access them at a time that works for them. Access the trainings through the appropriate section of the site’s menu.
Maine licensing recognizes the professional training hours awarded by FCCAM for these webinars. Outside of Maine it is the responsibility of the provider to confirm their acceptance by the appropriate licensing body.
At this time, all FCCAM trainings are available for FREE for members of FCCAM and MaineAEYC.
We are happy to be able to provide these professional development opportunities to members of both professional organizations as part of our joint work supporting professionals providing child care in Maine.
Unless noted individually for a special training, the cost per training for non-members will be: $5
You will need to complete a reflection activity specific to the archived webinar and pay any listed cost to receive your certificate of training.
Being a volunteer organization composed of working family child care providers we do our best to have certificates email out quickly, usually with a week of receiving the necessary reflection and payment.
